Introduction to Unspeakable Joy
Our souls or minds have been encased in darkness for centuries but now chinks of light are breaking through as the sun starts to rise. It is the dawning of thought, not the twisted, confused thought we’ve been used to, but the realisation of “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.” (Luk 2:14). Yes, the real meaning of Christmas! It’s when Christ is born in each of our hearts and “…sorrow and sighing shall flee away” (Isa 35:10).
This is the “narrow way leading to life that few find”, said Jesus over 2000 yrs ago (Mat 7:14), but eventually everyone will find it.
These are my writings written over time to help me understand scriptures from the Old and New Testaments that have been taught for centuries in a particular way but now begin to mean something completely different.
Each one is a separate writing, so you can pick and choose which to read. They are all PDFs and can either be read online or downloaded into iBooks or kept elsewhere. A good writing to start with is ‘The Veil‘ as it is symbolic of the darkened thought cloud we’ve been living under.
Each writing must be pondered upon and not just read. Our eyes (our perceptions) have been blinded, hiding the real Truth, but eventually like the sun that chases the darkness away we will SEE!
[1Pe 1:8, 9, 13 KJV] Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see [him] not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith, [even] the salvation of [your] souls. … Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
[Jhn 8:36 KJV] If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
